Pathways to Land Based Studies
View our range of coursesOur Pathways to Land Based Studies courses at Lackham are perfect for learners with a passion for being outdoors and working with plants and animals who are working towards an Entry or Level 1 qualification, or to build their Independence and Employability Skills.
The department works closely with the Inclusion & Support Team to support everyone throughout their time with us, helping them to progress onto the appropriate next step.
Lisa has worked within Education since 2006 when she recognised that she thrived when delivering Learning & Development sessions at work. She started by delivering Life Skills and employability lessons to adults with learning difficulties and disabilities and then relocated to Wiltshire from London in 2008.
She has worked at the College ever since, initially as a Lecturer in Foundation Learning at Trowbridge and Chippenham, then moving to Lackham in 2017 as Deputy Head of Department. Although she is not from a Land-based background, Lisa has embraced work at the Lackham campus and has created an enhanced curriculum for learners, developing her own skills and knowledge along the way. Her experience working with SEND learners allows her to support learners with their journey preparing for adult and further education.
In her spare time Lisa loves to travel, read a good book and relax with her family.
