Vehicle repair is challenging and hands-on. In our industry-standard workshops, you'll feel like you are learning on the job. With a realistic working environment you'll always be putting your learning into practice, giving you real preparation for your career.
You'll learn how to work with a whole range of vehicles and issues, carry out maintenance and repairs, and identify and report faults.
You could specialise in light or heavy vehicle service and maintenance, motorvehicle industry and technologies, transport maintenance, repair technology or auto-electrical and mobile-electrical principals. You’ll experience carrying out a full range of services, repairs and winter checks. You’ll develop your ability to solve problems and think on your feet, and gain strong communication skills needed to speak confidently to customers, colleagues and suppliers. We offer courses and apprenticeships at levels 1, 2 and 3, giving you a solid route for progression within the College and then into the workplace.
I love being able to learn in the workplace and at the College where I get the chance to work on such a wide variety of vehicles.
