Our university level engineering courses provide a wide-ranging study of Engineering and are designed for students who wish to pursue or advance their career in this sector.
The department's facilities will enable you to learn using a wide range of industry equipment. A large, dedicated workshop houses a range of equipment including mills and lathes. In our engineering labs you'll build experience with CAD equipment and software, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic rigs and a range of electronic, robotic and mechatronic facilities.
As a College we are proud of our strong links with industry partners such as DSTL, Babcock, Knorr Bremse, REME and the MOD. These connections allow us to provide you with more than just academic experience: you’ll be exposed to varied working environments and develop a real understanding of the standards and practices in industry-leading companies, both locally and globally.
