Course Overview

This four-week course will look at the basics of cooking and understanding the ingredients on food packets such as the red, amber and green labels, to help enable you to choose healthier food. The course will look at healthy eating habits and the cheapest way to buy healthier foods. This course will include some basic cooking.

What will I learn?

During this four-week course you will learn the about healthy eating and developing healthy eating habits. You will also be doing some basic cooking.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor.

There are no entry requirements associated with this course.

Additional Costs and Information

There are no additional course fees.

Free fundable programme for aged 19+ who are in receipt of benefit or on a low wage income and must have lived in the UK for the last three years. You must currently reside in England. Should you need any additional information before applying please do contact us on busdev@wiltshire.ac.uk.
