Course Overview
Completion of this 1-day course enables you to meet the legislative requirements for working with a tractor mounted boom sprayer to distribute pesticides.Please contact BusinessDevelopment@wiltshire.ac.uk or 0845 345 2235 with any questions or if you are an employer enrolling one or more employees onto this course.
What will I learn?

Pesticide handling
Pesticide application
Disposal of contaminated waste
Health, safety and legal requirements
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Assessment will be a combination of observation of practical skills, and a questions and answers session to determine your level of knowledge and understanding of the module.
Assessment will be on a separate day at a designated time. Dependent on assessor availability, we aim to carry out the assessment within 7 days of the training.
Entry Requirements
It is a condition of attending this course that you have previously achieved the Foundation Module, covering the health, safety and legal elements within NPTC Pesticide Application (PA1) and have experience of driving a tractor.
Additional Costs and Information
The cost of the course includes course materials and assessment fees. VAT is not applicable.
The purpose of the NPTC assessment is to prove occupational competence; further charges apply if re-assessment is required.
