Esports is a competitive and professional sport centred around video games. It is an industry rapidly on the rise, with Global Esports revenues tipped to hit $1.8 billion by 2022! This fun and innovative Level 3 Esports course will help you gain the right skills to progress into the industry or to continue your development at University level. It will give you an opportunity to learn how to plan and manage events and tournaments.
What will I learn?
Esports has strong connections to computing education, STEAM subjects and developing business and enterprise skills, cyber skills and digital literacy. Endorsed by the British Esports Association for learners wanting to work in the industry, this Level 3 course builds upon a wealth of transferable skills and enables you to experience different aspects of Esports. Key areas covered include Esports industry knowledge, enterprise and entrepreneurship, health, well-being and fitness for Esports players, Esports branding and marketing, video production and games design and Esports events.

BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Esports
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4/C including Maths and English (or equivalents).
A good reference.

What Could I Do Next?
In year 2 you would study the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Esports. Progressing then into employment, apprenticeships or on to higher education.
