Are you interested in developing a greater understanding about how children's brains develop and how different experiences can postively and negatively impact brain development?

What will I learn?

This course is for anyone who would like to find out more about neuroscience in the early years.

This short course will:
- Help you understand how the brain develops between birth and 7 years.
- Explain the impact of relationships on brain development.
- Support you to develop a greater understanding of self-regulation and how co-regulation can nurture children to achieve self-regulation.
- Teach you about emotion coaching and how it can be utilised in an early years setting.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

You will be assessed through ongoing coursework throughout the 6-week program.
