Study, Assessment and Qualifications

A Higher National Diploma qualification is equivalent to a level 5 university qualification, for example a foundation degree. This particular HND is also a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) which means it has been mapped to an occupational standard which has been developed by employers. This means the qualification will contain the knowledge and skills development to support entry straight into industry.

This level 5 course will be delivered using a blended approach of both class-based sessions and remote learning. This course is assessed using a range of assessment strategies. Practical sessions are due to take place in our newly developed Business School with specialist equipment and software provided.

Entry Requirements

At least 4 GCSEs at grade C (4) or above including English and Maths (or equivalent level 2 qualifications) plus one or more of the following:

- A Level 3 Extended Diploma or GCE AS / A Level or a 6 unit Vocational A Level.
