Course Overview
The course is designed to help those who need support and basic understanding of different IT skills used in everyday life.
What will I learn?
You will build your confidence and gain the knowledge different aspects of using software that can also be used on your mobile devices.
You will build your confidence and gain the knowledge on how to use some of the basic functions within Word.
The topics of understanding are:
- Fonts and different layouts
- Margins, headers and footers and page numbers
- Saving documents in the correct form
- Attaching documents to email
- Inserts files and pictures
- Cropping pictures
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor. There is no formal qualification or assessment.

The Course will run for one day at the Chippenham campus on

The Course will run for one day at the Salisbury campus on
04.11.24 Monday 10:30-15:30
To be eligible for the Free fundable programme, you must be aged 19+ and in receipt of benefit or on a low wage income and must have lived in the UK for the last three years.
