Meet David, programme lead for our degree-level courses in Motorsport Engineering and Technology.
I graduated from the University of Wales, Trinity St. David in 2009 with a Bachelors in Motorsport Engineering. I then completed my PGCE and MSc at the same place, finishing my studies in 2013.
Initially, I worked at the University of Wales as a technician, moving into lecturing and becoming the university’s chief motorsport engineer. Whilst at the University of Wales, I helped develop a Formula Student car, which finished the UK Competition in sixth place.
From then I moved to Wiltshire College, lecturing on the Level 2 course in Motorsport Engineering and subsequently becoming the HE Programme Lead.
I listen to musicals while commuting to work, I’m a big fan of Elton John, passionate about Motorsport (obviously), I built the biggest aerodynamic diffuser ever, and I have a one-year-old baby called Benjamin. I would be perfect for a pub quiz round entitled ‘Questions No-one Knows the Answer To’.
