Motorsport Engineering students at Wiltshire College & University Centre got a first taste of track action in 2023 when they took part in Castle Combe circuit’s Media Day last week.
The Media Day acts as an annual curtain-raiser for the season at the racetrack and previews the forthcoming calendar of racing championships and series.
It also provides competitors and teams with an opportunity to showcase their cars and plans to the motorsport press.
WCUC has a dedicated trackside centre at the circuit, which is home to our university-level motorsport engineering programme.
During the event, students had a lot of fun learning about the Formula Ford car through different driving conditions and also looked at developing various set-ups throughout the day.
