Here at Wiltshire College & University Centre, we are proud of the achievements of all our students and we know many have gone onto accomplish amazing things since they left us.
Wherever your career path has taken you – whether you’re studying elsewhere, have secured the job of your dreams or are enjoying retirement after a fantastic career – the College takes great pleasure in knowing it played some part in helping you on your journey.
Next month, the College will be launching a new Alumni Network to celebrate the success of our former students as well as provide the opportunity for those who have left us to reconnect with the College.
We know some people think Wiltshire College & University Centre only dates back to the turn of the millennium when it was formed as Wiltshire College following the amalgamation of three separate colleges in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Lackham in 2000. A further expansion followed in 2008 after a merger with Salisbury College before the College was granted university status in 2018 in recognition of its offering of Higher Education and Degree Level courses and rebranded as Wiltshire College & University Centre.
However, if you attended any of these colleges in any of their guises throughout the years, we’re proud to have you as part of our history. Whether you studied at the Lackham School of Agriculture or Salisbury College of Art in the mid-20th Century, or Trowbridge College in the 1990s, you’re as much a part of our story as the students who left us this summer.
All former students are welcome to join our new Alumni Network, which is an inclusive, inspirational community that aims to create lasting relationships between its members. As well as giving former students and friends of the College the opportunity to network and enjoy exclusive benefits, the Alumni Network is here to inspire the current and next generation of students.
By getting involved with the College in both big and small ways, you can help transform our students’ learning experience and help prepare them for the next phase of their lives.
Ahead of the launch, we want to spread the word about our alumni’s amazing achievements and would love to hear from you to find out where your career has taken you and what you are up to now.
We’ve already celebrated some amazing achievements by our former students this summer, including former Lackham student Oliver Scott’s appointment to a high-profile role in agriculture, the launch of a new art exhibition curated by former Trowbridge student Tom Miller and former Chippenham student Ben Harte having his first book published.
If you have a story you’d like us to celebrate, email firstname.lastname@example.org and help us share your success – and be sure to look out for the launch of our Alumni Network next month.
