Our Art and Design courses give you the opportunity to experience a range of different techniques, methods and artistic approaches.
You will study with lecturers who are themselves practicing artists and whose broad and exploratory techniques allow you to find confidence in your talents and strengths as a creative practitioner.
This will help you to develop an extensive range of design skills to enable you to progress on your chosen creative path.
Our well-equipped studios provide you with everything you need to ignite your creative flair, and you will be supported by experienced technicians.
You’ll develop art, design and communication skills, working on assignment briefs within themed projects. There are opportunities to study a range of subject areas including printmaking, fine art, 3D design, graphic design, photography, fashion and textiles, and drawing techniques.
Our students take part in regular visits and study tours, including trips to London galleries. You will also get involved in public exhibitions and performances, and have the opportunity to undertake professional briefs.
After completing a Level 3 course, you’ll be able to progress onto our highly-regarded, one-year pre-degree Foundation Art and Design course.
Previous students have successfully progressed on to further study at university at some of the country’s leading art institutions.
