What Is the purpose of the governing body?

The Governing Body is responsible for designing and delivering the College’s strategic plan to meet the needs of our students, our staff and our community.

Our Governors oversee the quality and performance of the college and foster an ambitious vision which ensures that all learners can achieve to their highest potential.

The Governing Body are mostly external to the college and are local people with a range of skills, knowledge and experience to help the college take achieve its strategic objectives. They receive no renumeration for their roles and contribute to the College in a non-executive capacity.

The Governing body includes in its membership the College Principal, staff and student governors.
