Wiltshire Business School
The Wiltshire Business School opened in 2024 as part of an exciting £2.2million project to renovate Lackham House.
The project involved the refurbishment of parts of the magnificent Georgian manor house that is the central hub of the campus – to create a series of modern learning spaces and support the provision of the T Level programmes in business, accounting and finance.
Improved IT provision and a refurbished reception area sits alongside conferencing facilities, providing students with an environment more akin to a 21st Century business centre.
Agriculture At Lackham
Lackham has been a centre for agricultural learning since 1946. The campus is home to working farms, whose commercial enterprises include dairy, beef and sheep.
Students on our agriculture courses learn practical skills and undertake routine duties as part of their timetable. Use our Lackham Farm Guide to find out more.
Lackham’s Animal Centre is home to a wide range of domestic and exotic animals, including marmosets, raccoons, spiders, snakes and a wide range of birds and fish.
Not only do our students learn from these animals but take practical care of them in a rota of duties alongside trained staff, ensuring an unparalleled and immersive learning experience.
Grounds And Gardens
As an RHS-certified training centre, Lackham has an abundance of indoor and outdoor teaching facilities for horticulture. At the heart of Lackham is the Walled Garden that includes a series of greenhouses.
With 500 acres of land encompassing woodlands, wetlands, sports pitches and amenity lawns, there is no end of outdoor space for our students to learn in.
AgriTech Centre
The cutting-edge AgriTech Centre has become the centrepiece of Lackham. Positioned right at the heart of the campus, the building hosts state-of-the-art technology and science teaching facilities, and a media display wall with a live feed of data, statistics and visuals from the Robotic Dairy at Home Farm.
Robotic Dairy
Lackham has a modern robotic milking parlour joining its 140-cow dairy unit at Home Farm, developed in partnership with T H WHITE and DeLaval.
The Parlour features market-leading DeLaval robotics and software.
