Course Overview

The T Level in Marketing is a dynamic career focused 2-year programme developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares you for work.

This programme is the equivalent of 3 A Levels and mixes classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience in an industrial placement for a minimum of 315 hours.

You will explore the complexities of the marketing industry, guided by our industry experts you will learn about marketing frameworks and the different types of marketing activities and tools that ensures you are ready for your next steps.

The programme consists of a technical qualification including core content and an occupational specialism, alongside a high-quality industry placement.

The core content focuses on your knowledge and understanding of the business environment to include business ethics, the principles of marketing and sales, the principles of procurement, sustainability in business, project management methods and tools, legislation and regulations in marketing, sales and procurement, the communication tools within the marketing sector, an awareness of digital and emerging technology, digital transformation and digital tools, and its impact on the business environment.

In the second year, your studies will focus on the specialist content, ensuring you further develop the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the level of competence needed to enter employment in your chosen field.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language, Maths and Science, or equivalent.
A successful interview.
T Level programmes follow GCSEs and are a qualification for students aged 16-18 at the start of the course. Our T Levels are not available to adults at this time.
The Pearson T Level in Marketing core content is assessed through two examinations and a substantial practical employer-set project.

The occupational specialism is assessed synoptically through a rigorous practical assessment.
You may be expected to join in course trips to other organisations and exhibitions as required, and this may involve some costs towards travel and entry fees.
