Wiltshire college working with

Employers

What We Do

Wiltshire College is always working with local and regional employers in order to provide high quality CEIAG to students. It is recognised that an encounter with an employer (be they the actual employer, an employee, a contractor, self-employed, etc) is one of the most effective ways of imparting key careers knowledge and awareness to students. Employers become role models, answer key questions, act as a vital source of first-hand Labour Market Information, and maybe even clue students in on a few industry secrets.

Curriculum staff book presentations and workshops with employers throughout the academic year. We also host an annual careers fair at each campus, as well as Apprentifest.

When an employer supports our CEIAG, they not only help to support and shape the next generation, they also build a vital bridge with potential future employees, ensure that skills needs are met, and establish themselves as core parts of the community.
