The T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development is an exciting new 2-year programme developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of the digital industry and prepares you for work. This programme is the equivalent of 3 A Levels and mixes classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience in an industrial placement for a minimum of 315 hours.

What will I learn?
The programme consists of a technical qualification including core content and occupational specialisms, alongside a high quality industry placement. The core content focuses on knowledge and understanding of business contexts, concepts, theories, principles and core skills relevant to the digital industry. You will cover key areas including analysing a problem to define requirements and acceptance criteria aligned to user needs, design, implement and test software, change, maintain and support software, create solutions in a social and collaborative environment, discover, evaluate and apply reliable sources of knowledge and applying ethical principles and manage risks in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5/B or above including Maths, English and Science (or equivalents).

A satisfactory interview.
T Level programmes follow GCSEs and are a qualification for students aged 16-18 at the start of the course. Our T Levels are not available to adults at this time.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications
The Pearson T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development core content is assessed through an examination and a substantial practical employer-set project. The occupational specialism is assessed synoptically through rigorous practical assessments.
Additional Costs and Information
You may be expected to join in course trips to other organisations and exhibitions as required, and this may involve some costs towards travel and entry fees.
