Course Overview

This Foundation (Theory) Module qualification is a legal requirement in order to progress onto other spraying related modules, such as:

PA6 Handheld Knapsack Pesticide Applicator
PA2 Tractor Mounted Boom Sprayer

What will I learn?

The following topics will be covered: legislation, interpreting instructions on product labels, personal safety and PPE, safe storage and disposal of surplus mixed pesticides, record keeping and environmental factors.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

Assessment is by a multiple-choice exam on a laptop, and will take place during the afternoon of the course. There is no alternative to this method of assessment.

Additional Costs and Information

The purpose of the assessment is to prove occupational competence; further charges will apply if re-assessment is required.
