What will I learn?
The aim of the course is to provide you with basic speaking and listening skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which will increase your confidence to have a go when you are abroad.
On completion you should be able to:
Understand and participate in simple conversations in everyday situations
Demonstrate confidence in using basic expressions in Italian
Demonstrate some knowledge of the culture of Italian-speaking countries
Feel inspired to continue studying the Italian language and culture
The following topics will be covered during the course:
– Greetings and introductions
– Using numbers and understanding prices
– Ordering drinks and snacks
– Shopping for food
– Finding your way around
– Visiting the pharmacy/doctor
