Travelling By Bus

Our Salisbury campus is served by a number of bus routes from across the region. Whether you’re coming from nearby towns or further afield, you’ll find a connection that drops you right at or very near the campus

If you are aged 16-19 (under 19), live in Wiltshire and Salisbury is your nearest Wiltshire College & University Centre campus, you may be eligible for a Wiltshire Council bus pass. If your household income is less than £20,819.00, the price for the 2024-25 bus pass is £315.00.

Local bus companies, Salisbury Reds and Morebus operate services to Salisbury from Hampshire and Dorset. Most bus routes stop in Salisbury city centre which is a short walk from the College campus on Southampton Road. There are a range of ticket options including weekly, monthly and annual tickets. You can find prices and purchase tickets from the websites below. 

Travelling By Train

Salisbury station is around 1 mile from our Salisbury campus 

Students travelling on the train network aged 16 or 17 can purchase a 16 – 17 Saver card for a 50% reduction in their train fares:

Students aged 18 and over can purchase a young person’s railcard which entitles them to a 30% reduction in ticket prices:

Please be sure to read all terms and restrictions to make sure a railcard is appropriate for your needs. 

Travelling By Car

Parking is free on all of our campuses, although spaces cannot be guaranteed. 

The College has EV charging points available for use by staff and students, these spaces are for the charging of electric vehicles only and should not be used for parking. 

Financial Support

If you live more than 3 miles (walking distance) from college, the College bursaries can offer financial support to help students who could face financial difficulties with the cost of travelling to college.
