Equine

Our Equine courses provide you with access to some of the best industry facilities in the region, giving you a unique and immersive learning experience.

Based at Lackham, we offer riding and non-riding options for our courses, and students gain a unique learner experience as their practical learning is off-site at Rein and Shine Equestrian Centre, which was ranked SEIB Large Riding School of the Year 2023.

More About Our Courses

As a full-time student, two days every week will be spent at Rein and Shine, where you will develop practical and employability skills in a safe and supportive yard environment while accessing employer networks and relevant industry links.

Your practical experiences will be supported with learning in areas including anatomy, physiology, stable yard and stud management, nutrition, animal behaviour and welfare.

Students have opportunities to be involved in the Badminton Horse Trials and a range of other equine employers for work experience or industry placements, dependent on equestrian interest and career progress.

Previous students have successfully progressed on to full-time employment within the sector, apprenticeships or further study at university.
