Set in 500 acres of Wiltshire countryside, our Lackham campus is the perfect place to study a Countryside Management course.
The campus is home to a range of typical lowland environments, from river frontage and wetlands to ancient woodland and farmland. This provides the ideal landscape for innovative practical learning, allowing you to gain the necessary skills and experience needed to launch your career in a range of wildlife and conservation industries.
As a student on these courses, you will be actively involved in the development and management of the Lackham estate, creating and cultivating habitats for British wildlife, improving access to nature, and exploring a range of critical issues surrounding the environment and sustainability.
Under the guidance of experienced staff, you will learn vital outdoor skills as well as undertake field projects and surveys for flora and fauna, including birds, fish and deer. This will ensure you are equipped to start and succeed in a career in any aspect of countryside recreation.
Previous students have progressed on to successful roles in the industry or study at university on courses such as Wildlife Conservation and Rural Land Management.
