Course Overview

Do you dream of a career performing on stage or perhaps you’d love to work behind the scenes helping run big theatre productions? Our Level 2 Performing and Production Arts course will expand on your understanding of all elements of music, performing and production arts and provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding to progress to further education or employment in the creative industry. The course is offered at our Trowbridge and Salisbury campuses, both of which provide an exciting and dynamic space for you to build your confidence, explore your talents and develop as a performer or producer. Our Trowbridge campus has a state-of-the-art professional studio theatre, The Arc Theatre, as well as a dance studio and a newly refurbished drama studio. Students at Salisbury are trained by professional artists within our partner organisation, Wiltshire Creative. Wiltshire Creative comprises the combined vision, creative energy and ambition of Salisbury Arts Centre, Salisbury International Arts Festival and Salisbury Playhouse. Students spend time at the Salisbury Arts Centre and the Salisbury Playhouse with further sessions taking place in the well-equipped campus Performing Arts Studio.
