You’ll learn about the creative process that informs the creation of all media products and discover how to turn an idea into an exciting game, video, animation or graphic.
Through bespoke units with our specialist lecturers, you’ll gain a range of specialist skills using advanced software and hardware. You’ll also build your skills in pre-production and production. Practical sessions will be complemented by supporting theory to extend your knowledge of industry and technology.
All of our University of Arts London qualifications encourage you to explore a variety of methods and techniques, reflecting on them as you learn; this will be a fundamental part of your work.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Following tutor-led sessions, much of the practical work will be carried out during the college day. This may include non-timetabled sessions when you are working unsupervised to further your skills. We encourage students to make content in their free time too.
You will need to supplement practical sessions with private study to develop the planning and theory elements.
You’ll study a number of core units and you will then be asked to undertake a major production of your own devising. This final project is significant because it will be used to award the overall grade for the year.
There are no external exams on this course.
