Course Overview

Do you dream of a career that could take you all over the world? Our Level 2 Travel and Tourism course will give you an introduction to one of the largest industries worldwide. You’ll discover destinations and learn about potential careers, and when you complete this course you’ll be ready to progress onto our Level 3 Travel and Tourism qualification to prepare you for employment or further study.

What will I learn?

You’ll study a variety of units, including: the UK travel and tourism industry, customer service, travel and tourism destinations and airports and airlines.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent.

A successful interview.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

You’ll be assessed in a variety of methods, including assignments, role play, presentations and exams. You will also be expected to complete a work placement as a key part of your learning on this course. Your final qualification will be a NCFE Level 2 Extended Certificate in Travel and Tourism.

Additional Costs and Information

You will be required to purchase uniform and pay an entry fee. Trips to organisations and exhibitions are a key part of this course and you will be expected to participate; the total for these will be £300 per year.
