Course Overview

Do you have an interest in motorsport engineering? If so, our Level 1 Introduction to Engineering course is perfect for you! This course is designed to help you develop your engineering skills whilst discussing and enhancing your knowledge of the world of Motorsport. You will explore various aspects of engineering, including electrical and mechanical engineering, with a special focus on motorsport. If you have a strong interest in both engineering and motorsport, this course is tailored just for you.

The course integrates English and/or Maths GCSE within the timetable, spread over approximately three working days. These days will be based at our Chippenham campus, where you will work in motorsport and engineering workshops throughout the week. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit our Higher Education facility at the Castle Combe racetrack, which allows you to see potential progression paths for your education and career goals, and provides excellent access to local teams, offering fantastic opportunities for work experience.
