Course Overview

This course is based on conversations in different subjects. Each student will take part in the conversation or group activities (such as games or role play) and bring their knowledge on the subject. It will be focused on speaking and understanding, by holding a conversation in French, asking questions and giving answers. This course requires a good knowledge of French grammar and verbs and would be ideal for students who have been learning French for 3-4 years.

You will learn a wide range of vocabulary and French expression by experiencing daily situations. You will be able to talk about the weather forecast, shopping, food in a restaurant, culture, leisure, health, your passions and interest, holidays, jobs, the news, and more!
This course requires a good knowledge of French grammar and verbs and would be ideal for students who have been learning French for 3-4 years.
Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor.
There are no additional course costs.

This course runs on one day per week at the Chippenham Campus and the dates are:
13.01.26 – 02.06.26, Tuesdays at 10:00-11:30.
