What will I learn?
The course is designed to help you build your skills and confidence in English to help you to live, study or work in the UK. You will study grammar, vocabulary, speaking and listening skills, writing skills, reading skills and functions of English. The exact syllabus will depend on whether you are studying at Entry Level 1, 2 or 3.
Entry Requirements
Entry is determined on an individualised basis at interview and the completion of an assessment to identify your current level of English.
You should be working at Entry Level 1 or above (CEFR equivalent is A1), however, we accept students on the course even if they do not have a qualification at this level.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications
During the course you will work towards three exams – in speaking and listening, reading, and writing – and will also do a mock exam practice.
You will be given coursework to complete outside of class, which will support your studies, as well as an Individual Learning Plan, which you will use to focus on your personal learning targets.
The qualification you will receive is the Certificate in Skills for Life ESOL at Entry Level 1, 2 or 3.
