Study, Assessment and Qualifications

Additional Costs and Information
Access to HE is the only course where the student loan does not have to be repaid as long as the learner completes their undergraduate degree. More information on the Advanced Learner Loan can be found at www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan.
In order to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan, you will need the following documentation: proof of identity in the form of a passport or birth certificate and your National Insurance number.
During the course you will develop your knowledge in your chosen subject area whilst also improving your study skills such as research and essay writing, preparing you for the requirements of higher education study. You’ll be well supported throughout the course by a personal tutor and through regular 1:1 tutorials. You need to be able to commit to at least 30 hours of study per week (in college and independently) and for this reason we recommend that you should work (whether paid or voluntary) for no more than 15 hours per week.
