Can you go to college without GCSEs?
It’s a common myth that you don’t need GCSEs to attend college.
Entry requirements depend on the level and type of course you want to study – and while some courses require GCSE English and Maths (of Functional Skills equivalent), others are open to students working towards them.
If you don’t yet have these qualifications, don’t worry – there are other routes available to you. However, we do recommend you take a look at the specific entry requirements for each course. Is college only for teenagers?
Definitely not! We welcome learners of all ages and backgrounds.
At Wiltshire College & University Centre, our 16-18 learners can study full-time courses, T Levels and apprenticeships.

Is college just like school?
