Students and staff pay their respects on Remembrance Day

Students and staff across Wiltshire College & University Centre joined together on Monday 11th November to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Remembrance Reflection activities were held across each campus, led by Public Services students at Lackham, Salisbury and Trowbridge and by Criminology students at Chippenham.

The reflections involved the reading of poems and personal stories, the playing of the Last Post, and a two-minute silence alongside the rest of the nation as a mark of respect to all those who have lost their life during conflict.

In the lead up to Remembrance Day and to highlight their activities, students from the same courses created meaningful displays positioned in campus reception areas.
