Wiltshire College & University Centre Education & Childcare T Level student Ellie Shepherd has been offered a place at Norland, the prestigious Early Years training provider, starting this September.

Ellie discovered her passion for working with young people after
starting the course at the Chippenham campus in 2022, and cannot wait to take her next steps towards a
career in childcare with the world-renowned education establishment in Bath.

Ellie said: “Early Years is all about helping the development of the next generation. I think it is an absolutely amazing career.

“When I started the course I wasn’t sure about what I wanted to do in the future but Norland came into our class and delivered a talk and it was a real lightbulb moment and made me realise this is what I want to do.

“At Norland, it is so much more than just being a nanny. You are learning to sew, learning to cook, learning about travelling all over the world for work. It is a huge opportunity for me and I am so excited to start.”
