Why study at Trowbridge?

You'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs in Trowbridge town centre. The city of Bath is only a 20 minute direct train ride away for even more entertainment and shopping options and Bristol is slightly further afield. There are also regular train and bus services to the city of Salisbury and the nearby towns of Westbury, Warminster and Bradford-on-Avon. Buses to Frome, Melksham, Chippenham, Devizes and Swindon are also frequent.

In Trowbridge the farmers' market, which runs on the fourth Friday of each month, is worth visiting for locally sourced produce and there are two large supermarkets in town, one is open 24 hours a day. The large "People's Park" is only a 30-second walk from the town centre.

The local area has a number of sizeable employers including Virgin Media, Apetito, Nutricia and The Consortium. Whilst in nearby Bath there are many opportunities in tourism and an array of creative companies including Future Publishing. The city has a thriving business community in all sectors.
