Games Development

If you’re interested in working in the Video Games industry our university level Game Development course will give you the skills you need.

Our facilities include a range of specialist industry software and hardware, with you creating work using Maxon and Adobe software alongside Unreal and Unity engines. You'll develop specialist 3D modelling skills to generate character and environment designs, learning how to implement them in then engine to create playable prototypes. Through developing a portfolio of work you'll be ready for employment in industry or to undertake a top up year to achieve a full BA(Hons).

With dedicated workspaces for Game Development in our new #TechTrowbridge centre you'll be surrounded by like minded individuals in a creative digital hub.

Meet your lecturer
Frazer McLeod,

Frazer has over a decade of experience running and delivering video games education, across a broad range of levels. Having initially trained in Product Design at Ravensbourne University London, he moved into specialising in education. He brings a wealth of knowledge around, design, illustration, modelling and animation. His students have progressed to some of the most prestigious universities and employers in the games industry, as well as placing highly in national competitions like the BAFTA One to Watch awards. Frazer ensures his course keeps up with this fast paced sector, through continuous development and experimentation with new technologies.

The course provided me with knowledge of games development pipelines and experience with tools/software that are used by industry professionals in most games development studios.
