Course Overview

This course is for learners who have completed more than 40 hours of Spanish study (e.g. a Beginners course followed by the half of our Intermediate course). They should be able to speak Spanish in everyday situations and have some knowledge of basic grammar.

What will I learn?

In this course, the students will gain confidence expressing feelings, speaking about the difficulties of learning a new language, and being able to give recommendations and excuses. They will speak with confidence about past events using different past tenses, speaking about people and experiences from the Hispanic world. Also, the students will plan holidays in a Hispanic destination, giving and following a range of instructions.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor. There are not official certificates after completion.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements associated with this course. It is recommended that students have studied some basic Spanish to be able to follow the course.

Additional Costs and Information

There are no additional course costs, but your Lecturer will recommend buying a course book and you should bring with you a Spanish dictionary and writing materials.

This course will run one evening per week at our Trowbridge campus. Details are below: 15.09.22-24.11.22 Thursday 18:00-19:30
