Course Overview


If you dream of working within the travel industry either in the UK or overseas our travel and tourism courses will help you on your way to that dream career. Our industry experienced tutors will share their knowledge and skills to help you progress into careers that could include being an air steward, holiday representative, tour operator, hotel manager or even event organiser. You will take part in trips and tours to experience life in the industry, which have included visits to British Airways Cabin Crew training facilities, theme parks, UK destinations and European tourist destinations. In the second year you have the opportunity to apply for our overseas work experience with the Erasmus program enabling you to gain work experience abroad, to develop new skills, gain vital international experience and boost their employability.

What will I learn?


We will immerse you in the travel and tourism industry, preparing you to be a successful professional in your chosen career. You will learn all the key elements of travel and tourism, as well as undertaking additional qualifications in NCFE Level 2 Award for Resort Representatives and NCFC Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Cabin Crew. This course will enable you to develop and hone all skills employers look for in a Travel and Tourism candidate.

Entry Requirements


- 4 GCSEs at grade 9-4 or A*-C including English and Maths, Merit or Distinction in a related subject at Level 2.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications


- BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

- An Industry Placement is a fundamental part of this course. An Industry Placement gives you the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience for your future. You will be supported throughout your placement by our dedicated Work Placement Team.

Additional Costs and Information


You will be expected to join in course trips to other organisations, excursions and exhibitions and the costs for this £350.00 per year, in addition to this there is a Uniform requirement and entry fees.
