Course Overview

This course is aimed at those?already employed in the manufacturing sector - this does not have to be just the engineering sector, but can be any sector where a product is manufactured for example: food, electronics, vacuums, white goods, trailers, cosmetic products etc.Typical work roles that would benefit from this course would be Operator, Maintenance Operator, Production Inspector, or Assembly. The course is also ideal for those who have already acquired the skills but are yet to obtain formal recognition in the way of a recognised qualification.

What will I learn?

This course will confirm your existing theoretical and practical skills as well as?challenging and stretching you in areas where you are missing important knowledge or hand skills.?

Entry Requirements

Applicants must?be in full-time employment and?working on a production line of some sort that manufactures a product.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

This qualification is delivered at the learners' place of work, with a College Assessor visiting every six to eight weeks.

During an Assessor visit, actions are agreed, and a continued portfolio of evidence is built moving forward, proving the learners' understanding of the theory behind the subject matter and ability to apply this in their day to day practical activities.
