If you want to forge a career in business administration and learn a range of transferable skills for the future, then this is the course for you! You’ll gain a broad understanding of how a modern professional office operates, gaining knowledge and skills in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, managing information and using IT software.You’ll also gain professional administrative experience when putting your theoretical knowledge into practice and developing the skills required for employment within a business environment.
What will I learn?
You’ll look at a wide range of administrative support tasks, demonstrating your skills when providing administrative services, working with others to carry out tasks using a variety of office equipment.
You’ll develop and demonstrate the skills to plan, organise and support business events, and use business technology to process information, producing a range of business documents and communicating and sharing information.
Work experience will allow you to spend some time with a local employer, with the opportunity to put your skills into practice whilst gathering valuable evidence to support your technical qualification.
- 4 GCSEs at grade 3, or above, including English and Maths or equivalent.

- A satisfactory interview.
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
BTEC Level 2 Technical Certificate in Business Administration.
An Industry Placement is a fundamental part of this course. An Industry Placement gives you the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience for your future. You will be supported throughout your placement by our dedicated Work Placement Team.

There are no additional costs on this course however, you may have the opportunity to join in course trips to other organisations and this may involve costs for travel and entry fees.
