Learning a language can be a very rewarding and enjoyable experience, whether you’d like to continue studying for pleasure, travel, business, or simply to meet like-minded people. Join this evening class which is taught in a friendly, relaxed and adult orientated manner.This course is a continuation of the Beginners Part 1 & 2 or who have a grounding in basic Spanish and would like to progress and further develop their confidence, skills and knowledge.
What will I learn?
Consolidate and extend students' knowledge of the vocabulary, expressions and basic grammar needed to deal with everyday situations in a Spanish-speaking country. Students will be encouraged to practice these expressions in class and to reinforce their learning by doing written exercises at home. The course will concentrate on the four language skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing.
The topics covered will include:
• Talking about people and routines
• Following directions
• Using public transport
• Booking accommodation
• Talking about holidays
• Exploration of grammar.
• Games and quizzes.
There are no entry requirements associated with this course, however you should have a basic understanding of the Spanish language, ideally having completed our Spanish Beginners courses.
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor. There are no final qualifications associated with this course.
