Study, Assessment and Qualifications
This course is full-time for two years. It will be necessary for you to undertake a significant amount of independent directed study to meet the demands of the programme.
Your personal tutor will help you to define your short- and medium-term goals throughout the course and can help you plan your independent directed study.
During the course you will benefit from a work placement with an employer in an industry related to your course of study and you will be encouraged and supported to make every effort to obtain an appropriate placement.
You will be provided with additional information and guidance at interview, enrolment and during induction. The college will assist you in finding suitable placement opportunities in the industry and will support you throughout the programme.
On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Higher National Diploma (HND) Digital Technologies, awarded by Pearson.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 48 UCAS Tariff Points from full level 3 qualifications (A levels or BTEC) ideally in a related subject as well as 4 GCSEs at minimum grade C (4) or above to include English and Maths.
Prior experience may also be considered for entry onto this course and please contact the college's HE Admissions team for more information.
Post Baccalaureate equivalent for other EU applicants and non EU students require equivalent qualifications.
Applications from mature candidates without the required entry criteria are welcomed and considered on an individual basis.
Where English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent qualification will normally be required.
