Course Overview

Businesses require staff within their teams that understand complex business functions and activities. When undertaking this Higher Level Apprenticeship you will be supported to develop your knowledge and understanding and your ability to analyse and evaluate a range of business and administrative systems and processes; alongside managing or developing teams.

What will I learn?

You will develop your skills to critically analyse and evaluate a range of business and administrative systems and processes, such as: managing facilities, risk and sustainability, communication systems within an organisation and people and performance management.

This apprenticeship will support those who: have significant experience of working in a business environment, work with a high level of autonomy and work in a role where they are responsible for systems change.

The tasks you under take will vary depending on level and your sector of employment. You will require strong communication, organisational and written skills to handle the wide variety of tasks.

Entry Requirements

- Minimum requirement is GCSE grade C (4) (or equivalent) ?in Maths and English.

- All applicants will be required to pass initial assessments in Maths and English.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

The Competence and Knowledge Elements will be assessed in the workplace using evidence to build a portfolio.

Functional Skills, if required, will generally be delivered at one of our Wiltshire College campuses.

A mixture of on and off the job training provides a variety of learning opportunities across the whole programme.

Additional Costs and Information

To assist you during your apprenticeship, you may be required to purchase some equipment and resources to support you during your course.

Higher Apprenticeships usually take 24 months to complete.
