Delivered at our Lackham campus, the Foundation Degree (FdSc) Environmental Science and Sustainability with Foundation Year will firstly give you the underpinning knowledge needed to prepare you for successful completion of the Foundation Degree.This course will give you the vocational skills and knowledge to be attractive to employers at the end of the three years study.

If you are applying for the Foundation Year, you should normally have 3 GCSEs in English, Science and Maths at grade C (4) or equivalent with level 3 qualifications; 32 UCAS Tariff Points, but not necessarily within science subjects.
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Assessment includes reports, coursework, practical skills, presentations and exams.
All modules are designed to enable you to engage in new areas of knowledge to acquire practical experience of a range of activities relevant to your employment within the environmental science industry and to encourage you to engage in critical reflection.
You will be given the opportunity to participate in lectures and workshops, plan and deliver presentations to your peers, research areas of relevance to the degree programme, critically evaluate the validity and implications of information and work with a wide variety of environmmental science hardware and software.

The cost of this programme is £8,200 per year (£14,500 for international students) for the Foundation Degree and £6,000 per year for the Foundation Year.
