Course Overview

This is a new venture by the College to provide opportunities for those of you in the community who are looking to improve your English or your maths.Please come along – whatever your ability. We aim to have a tutor available to give guidance and information to help support you and help you decide on your next steps in these important subjects.

What will I learn?

The sessions are being run within a community setting. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

You will gain individual support with your choice of English or maths. We will discuss and agree with you some key targets.

English – Communication, Reading, Writing.
Maths – Working with number, measurements, money and everyday problem solving.

Whatever your ability, we will support you and help you gain more confidence in English and maths.

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

The tutor will assess your current skills informally and agree some personal targets with you.

There are no entry requirements associated with this course.

Additional Costs and Information

There are no course costs.

You may be entitled to fee remission if you meet the criteria.

This course is run online on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 09:30-15:00
