Course Overview

This course is designed to help you build your skills and confidence in English to help you to live, study or work in the UK. In this course you will explore the different ways in which ICT can help improve your English skills, build your confidence and gain the knowledge in different aspects of using software and ICT in English that can be used for your home and work life. This will open doors to employment and training opportunities and allow you to pursue their careers further.

1. Introduction to Digital Skills for ESL Learners
2. Using Technology to enhance Language Skills
3. Digital Assessment and Feedback in ESL Education
4. Building Digital Literacy Skills for Academic Success
5. Promoting Digital Citizenship in ESL Learning Communities

Study, Assessment and Qualifications

Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor.

To be eligible for the Free fundable programme, you must be aged 19+ who are in receipt of benefit or on a low wage income and must have lived in the UK for the last three years.
