Course Overview

Golf Greenkeepers maintain various types of golf courses year-round, ensuring high-quality playing surfaces and a consistent experience for golfers.

They work early mornings, preparing and managing the course, including greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
Tasks involve turf management, soil health monitoring, mowing, aeration, pest control, and equipment maintenance.
Greenkeepers also handle irrigation, drainage, and environmental activities like planting and habitat development.

They interact with stakeholders such as supervisors, golfers, and contractors, ensuring the course is maintained during play. Greenkeepers follow ecological practices, safety regulations, and typically report to a line manager or head greenkeeper.
