Transformation
My FMP is centred around emotion. I created a garment from the word, manipulative. The front of the gown is charming and elegant; however, the back of the costume is messy and stressful to look upon. My aim was to take a second look on the word and meaning of manipulation, how everything can seem fine on the surface, but underneath, it is chaotic and complex. My main problem was designing the frock, trying to figure out the right sketch. I think my outcome was a well-planned outfit, with the right material and design to get the job done. I am very content with my work and hope that it conveys the message I am trying to execute.
