Abrasion
Becoming a freelance photographer is my motivation as an artist. This was fuelled by a growing interest in photography as I grew up.
This artwork focuses on the distortion and fragmentation of a person’s mental state after a traumatic experience. The pyramids represent different things like fleeting memories or the obvious ways a person’s appearance/mental state has changed. The larger pyramids represent the strongest memories, the strongest feelings, and the largest changes, while the smaller triangles represent the opposite, such as the fading memories, and the subtle changes to a person’s self.
