Traditional Hanbok
Studying East Asian Historical costume, I was fascinated by the Korean Hanbok during the Joseon Dynasty Period. Initially, I researched symbolism, cultural exchanges, society and class, gaining an understanding on the social meaning of Hanbok designs. Using silk and cotton in red and yellow, I matched the materials of the time period and the Obangsaek (traditional Korean colours).
