Visually Communicating the Implications of Humanities Increased Use of Fossil Fuels
My final project theme visually communicates the implications of fossil fuel use. Developing a typeface from the molecular structure of CO2 was a springboard to creating the image CO2, which I constructed into differing mobiles. This comparison between the sizes of my structures communicates the ongoing increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. In parallel, I designed a series of animations conveying contrasting ideas within the typeface.
